I paint scenes that resonate with me, moments I respond to right away. What matters most isn't the scene itself, but the feeling it gave me. I travel in search of it, knowing that the more places I see, the more likely I am to find what speaks to me.

Born in Siberia, now living in Chicago, I paint what inspires me, and hope it inspires someone else too.
